Hey hey Gators!

My name is Mrs. Englander and I began my journey as the Griffin Theatre Director in August 2021 and have worked with Frisco ISD since August 2020. I'm a happy go lucky gal with an imagination that rivals most five year olds and theatre is my life!

I earned my BA in Acting and Directing from Southeastern Oklahoma State University and have been a Theatre Educator since 2009. I have taught all levels of theatre from elementary to high school to drama camps. Not only am I a trained actor, but I love working behind the scenes as a technician. My areas of expertise include: set building, costuming, properties design, scenic painting, and sound design.

When I'm not in the classroom, I can be found volunteering at Lakeside Community Theatre as an actor and/or technician, playing Disney Dreamlight Valley on the Nintendo Switch, and watching RuPaul's Drag Race. Some of the other fandoms I'm obsessed with include the Nightmare Before Christmas, Harry Potter, Animal Crossing, and anime. In general... I'm a big ole' fantasy geek.
