Cheerleading Code of Conduct Addendum

Fowler Middle School

2024-2025

Be prompt: Show up early and make sure transportation is available to and from all events in advance.

Be polite: If you know you are going to be absent, tell us.  Communication is the key to a successful group.

Be prepared: Make sure that your cheer bag is filled with all the things you may need before you leave for an event.

And one last thing, Be smart!  Remember that you are representing our school on campus and off.  You should always strive to be the best you can be.

FISD CODE OF CONDUCT IS STRICTLY ENFORCED! (see below)

INFRACTIONS

A total of 3 Infractions will result in a referral to Fowler Administration to determine if Cheerleader is allowed to remain on the squad.

All calendar events are mandatory, including camp and practices

In the event of sickness or other extenuating circumstance that requires an absence from practice or event: Cheerleaders are responsible for giving coach notice prior to morning practice or by 4pm if an afternoon event is on the calendar.

Certain circumstances may occur that do not necessitate an infraction, but remediation should be administered.  In those instances, the coaches retain the right to assign a "Runnable Offense" to reprimand.  A "Runnable Offense" will be approximately 5 laps around the gym either before or after practice at the coaches’ direction. (ie: If you are late, you will run every minute you are late!)
