Working with choirs has always been a passion of mine every since my early teenage years. As a child, in Montgomery, AL, I participated in middle school choir, high school choir, and show choir. I received my Bachelor's degree in Music Education from Alabama State University, a Master's degree in Music Theory from Florida State University, and a Master's degree in Education Policy and Leadership from Southern Methodist University. Before joining the team in Frisco ISD, I taught elementary music for three years in Orlando, FL and five years in Dallas, TX. Seeing elementary students develop musically motivated me to pursue this career as a middle school choral director. On my spare time, I enjoy watching T.V., spending time with family, and serving as a church musician. It is my pleasure to serve the parents and students of Cobb each year and it is very rewarding to watch the students learn.
