How many books can I check out?
Kinder - 1 book (when we learn book responsibility, we will get 2 books!)
1st/2nd - 2 books
3rd/4th/5th - 3 books
Additional books may be checked out for assignment needs.
The library does not charge for overdue books, but students will need to pay for lost and damaged books. Click here for more information.
When are the books due?
When are the books due?
Students may keep books for up to two weeks. If they want to keep the book longer, they may renew it.
How often does my child visit the library?
Kindergarten - 2nd Grade visit the library weekly.
3rd - 5th Grade visit the library during their specials time once a week.
3rd-5th grade may also visit the library individually during open library times.
What do I do about the overdue notice email?
The overdue email notices are sent out automatically from the library system. There are no fines for overdue books, only lost/damaged books. Your child can return to the library at an appropriate time determined by their teacher or wait until their next library day.
When are all books due at the end of the school year?
All books are due by the first week in May.
