Browsing for Library Books
Students locate books by searching the online library catalog or browsing the shelves.
In person browsing is an effective means for locating books of interest and is most popular for the majority of library users.
Damaged Library Books
Every effort will be made by the school librarian to repair damaged books. Students should place damaged books in the book hospital crate on the librarian's desk for repairs and let the librarian know they are there. Books damaged by water are likely unrepairable. Books beyond repair will need to be paid for using the procedures for damaged or lost library books below.
Payments for Lost or Damaged Library Books
Lost or damaged library books must be paid for by the student. Our campus uses Bound to Stay Bounds: Support Our School Library Program to pay for damaged or lost books. It allows the school library to purchase replacement books quickly and easily. The following link to access the website. Then, click "Donate Now" and pay the total amount for the book or books that are damaged or are unable to find. BTSB will send a payment confirmation to the school librarian once you do.
