Meet the Teacher
Hi!
My name is Jenny Japp and I'm the Art Specialist at Fisher! I am also a wife, a mom, and a fellow Trails neighbor. I graduated from Texas A&M University with an education degree and received my master’s degree in Art Education from the University of North Texas. This will be my 28th year to teach! I have taught in 2 school districts and 3 schools, and I have loved calling Fisher my home for the past 14 years!
I feel very honored to introduce the world of art to Fisher students! It will be a very fun and exciting journey! We will still focus on all the Elements of Art (Line, Shape, Form, Space, Texture, Color, and Value) in each grade level.
I can't wait to see the great work all these budding artists will do.
Hello! My name is Brandy Goodlett, and I’m excited to be in my 15th year teaching P.E. at Fisher! Before joining Fisher, I taught Physical Education in Carrollton-Farmers Branch ISD for 12 years, bringing my total to 27 years of teaching P.E.! I’ve always loved being active and sharing that passion by helping students discover the joy of movement, build healthy habits, and develop a lifelong love of physical fitness.
I married my high school sweetheart, Dan, in Las Vegas in 2004, and we love spending time together as a family. We have two children: our daughter, Dani, is a Senior at The University of Texas at Austin (Hook ’Em!), and our son, Brayden, is a junior at Wakeland High School.
I’m a native Texan and a graduate of the University of North Texas. Outside of school, I’m passionate about health, fitness, and the outdoors. I’m a certified yoga instructor, teach SUP (stand-up paddleboard) yoga, and coach a paddleboard class at Lake Lewisville. I also enjoy photography and love trying new adventures. I ran my first half marathon in 2016 and my second in 2018!
In my free time, you’ll usually find me riding bikes, paddleboarding, wake surfing, practicing yoga, swimming, or relaxing in my hammock with a good book. Most of all, I love making memories and sharing fun experiences with my family.
I feel fortunate to turn my love of movement and wellness into a career, and I look forward to helping our Fisher students stay active, healthy, and strong!
Hi! My name is Claudia Fuenmayor (Miss F), and I’m so excited to start my second year of teaching music! I grew up in Caracas, Venezuela and graduated from Sam Houston State University with a degree in Music Education and a certificate in Woodwind Pedagogy and Performance.
My goal is to help students become tuneful, beatful, and artful while having fun and building confidence through music.
Outside of school, I’m a marathoner, a travel lover, and a dog mom to Abu and Cheddar!
One of my favorite mottos is:
“Would you regret doing it or not doing it?”
