Hello, 5th grade families! I am elated to be spending another year with the Frisco ISD family. This will be my 11th year teaching at Nichols Elementary in which I have taught both 4th and 5th grade.
I grew up in Waco, Texas and then attended the University of Oklahoma where I earned my BS in Elementary Education. Boomer Sooner! I am passionate about instilling a love of reading in my students building the foundational skills that they will use throughout their lives.
When I am not teaching, I love to read, travel, hike with my dog, Winnie, play the guitar, go to concerts, and spend time with my family and friends. I am excited to work with my students and their families this year, and I know it will be a wonderful end cap on their elementary years!
