Students can check out books from their classroom or the library at school. We want students to be reading for 20 minutes every day for homework; we also send home a weekly reading reflection homework page that is highly encouraged to complete to prepare for STAAR. 

To help your child with reading at home, you can ask them questions about what they are reading: who is the main character, what is happening to them/their struggle, what is the theme of the book, and what other themes do you see in the book... More information is on this link here.
