Registration through Eventbrite is required and will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis. If the event capacity is reached, a waiting list will be implemented and priority will be given to those professionals currently working with victims of sexual assault and stalking. Payment must be received prior to the conference.
You will receive an email confirmation if your registration was processed successfully. If you do not receive a confirmation (check your spam folder!) you may not be registered. Because of the costs associated with every individual who attends the conference as well as space limitations, we cannot guarantee that an individual will be able to attend if you show up on site without having registered in advance.
If you registered for the symposium, you are expected to attend all sessions. WVFRIS reserves the right to deny registration of disruptive attendees.
All cancellations or substitutions must be emailed to kkalany@fris.org before March 20, 2025. Refunds will NOT be given for cancellations received after March 20, 2025, or for participants who register but do not attend.
Please be advised that effective July 2019, Eventbrite will no longer return the processing fee when a refund is requested.
If you are deaf, hard of hearing, have a disability, or have medical related dietary restrictions and would like to request an accommodation, please contact Nikki Godfrey at 304-622-4441 or via email ngodfrey@fris.org preferably three weeks prior to the event. In your message, please provide your contact information and specify what accommodation you are requesting. Every effort will be made to accommodate advanced requests. Requests made after March 6, 2025 cannot be guaranteed.
