FOAL is proud to involve young leaders from the local area on our board from Stone Bridge, Broad Run, and Riverside High School boundary areas.

Meetings are held the 3rd Tuesday of each month  at 7pm in the Ashburn Library.  

*FOAL takes August off for a summer break.

FOAL provides monetary scholarships to local high school students in May each year.

In 2023, The Friends of the Ashburn Library issued scholarships totaling $3,000 to three local graduating seniors from the community. We received great interest and thank all the applicants and wish these  students the best in their future educational endeavors. 

FOAL coordinated with the high school guidance counselors to present the awarded scholarships at the students' recognition ceremonies.
