The outdoor learning center is located near the Naturalist Cabin. Visitors can gather on rustic benches that surround a fire ring.
The Friends shelter is reservable and is open for visitors to use at other times. It is tucked away in a private corner of the historic district near the Doughboy Trail. It's a perfect setting for family reunions, weddings, and other group gatherings. The shelter area includes a large grill, fire ring, electric outlets, overhead lighting, and two large serving counters. Make a reservation on the WI DNR's website.
