Pollinators in the Park

Pollinators in the Park create new and enhance existing pollinator habitat within Copper Falls State Park.  Committee volunteers  are interested in plant identification, invasive species control, and seed collection.

For people available to do in-person work, the group gathers twice each month for 3 to 4 hour work sessions. Help is needed with weed pulling, seed collecting, garden monitoring, and signage. For volunteers interested in remote work opportunities, Pollinators in the Park has a need for help with creating content for the website and with other communications within the group and to the public at large.

Their recent activities include planting native pollinator vegetation, scarfing soil, and mowing.

Go to the Pollinators page under the "Projects" tab for more information about activities.
