2022 Semester 1
Online via Zoom; Face-to-face activities in Mong Kok venue
In the last academic year, we initiated Globally Minded Teacher Learning Programme to support a group of pre-service teachers studying at EdUHK. This initiative received positive feedback from these pre-service teachers who showed greater cultural sensitivity and global mindset through their participation in our programme. This year, we hope to bring this programme to engage local schools and NGOs, who are the frontline practitioners in our community.
GMCLP adopts a “to-know, to-care, and to-act” approach that informs the design of our workshops and experiential learning activities. GMCLP will end with a competition, which involves designing a community project and lesson plan design competition to enhance the public’s cultural understanding.
Prizes included a certificate issued by EdUHK, and up to 12 ELAT hours (for EdUHK students only). The winning teams in the competition will be awarded a maximum of $5,000 shopping vouchers; and the winning schools will enjoy an opportunity to collaborate with us to showcase culturally harmonious and caring learning environments.
Do not miss the chance and gear yourself up to be a Globally Minded Community Member!
