The Education University of Hong Kong (EdUHK) and Royal University of Phnom Penh (RUPP) co-organized a Zoom orientation workshop on 8 February afternoon, to introduce the Graduate Certificate in Teaching and Learning in Higher Education (GCTLHE) to partner universities in the Centre of Excellence in Higher Education Teaching and Learning Innovations (CEHETLI). 22 teachers from five partner universities joined the workshop.

Professor LIM Cher Ping from EdUHK and Dr SOK Soth from RUPP co-hosted the workshop, aimed to enhance the understanding of the teachers on both the Centre and the Certificate, to such an extent that the Centre can pick the suitable candidate for the project. During the Q&A session, Dr SOK Soth emphasized the key point of the candidate is being committed to the project, “Enrolled candidates not only committed to study and complete the Certificate, but they also committed to adapt what they learnt from the courses into their daily teaching, it is a big challenge to the candidate.”

A separate workshop on the Certificate will be provided by RUPP, and a briefing session on the Doctoral Programme will be provided by EdUHK and RUPP, details will be announced later on.
