The Centre of Excellence in Higher Education Teaching and Learning Innovations (CEHETLI) conducted an orientation session on 17 June 2021. 42 participants included master teachers and project coordinators from six partner universities joined the orientation to detailly explore the Graduate Certificate in Teaching and Learning in Higher Education (GCTLHE).

The orientation started with the welcome opening by Professor Lim Cher Ping (EdUHK) and Dr Svay Souma (RUPP) to express their gratitude for the participation of the master teachers project coordinators. The opening was followed by the programme overview by Professor Lim, and a sharing by Dr Sok Soth (RUPP) on the pivotal role of the GCTLHE on the education system in Cambodia.

Then, the 4 teachers in the course team from EdUHK introduced their responsible courses in the GCTLHE respectively. including:

• Curriculum Development and Planning by Dr. Yun Pui Ho Patrick (Senior Lecturer II)

• Teaching and Learning Approaches and Strategies by Dr. Leung Ka Wai Marina (Senior Lecturer II, and Associate Head of the Department)

• Assessment literacy and Effective Assessment in Higher Education by Dr. Yan Zi (Associate Professor)

• Action Research by Dr. Xu Hui Xuan (Assistant Professor and Associate Head of the Department)
  

A demonstration on the Learning Management system was provided to the master teachers to get familiar with the use of Microsoft Teams. The orientation ended with the Q&A session.
