The mission of the Freehold Regional High School District Guidance and Counseling Department is to provide a comprehensive developmentally appropriate programming that addresses the academic, social, emotional, and post-secondary needs of all of our students. Our school counselors will accomplish this through a collaboration with all key stakeholders of the school community.

Where the Road Map comes from

Our counseling program follows the American School Counselor Association National Model, a national framework for what a strong school counseling program should include. It also supports the Whole Child priority in Compass 3.0, the district's strategic plan, and our commitment to a school environment that is safe, healthy, challenging, engaging, and supportive.
