The boys varsity baseball team has had a shocking start to their season. After opening the season finishing with a 2-2 record in the Myrtle Beach Mingo Bay Classic Tournament, the team arrived back home and has gone undefeated since. Pitchers Aiden Gruber, Maddox Sheesley, Chase Haglund, Garrett Brink, and Payton Dustin have commanded the mound with several no-hit innings and allowing very few hits. Not only are the pitchers assertive on the mound, but they are also forceful at the plate. All five pitchers have scored many points this season alongside sophomore Mason Eckman, and juniors Vincent Sanfilippo and Harrison Eckert. As the team dominates both sides of the ball, they are on track for a record breaking season. Now 6-2 overall and 3-0 in league, beating Westfield, Pine Valley, Maple Grove, and Jamestown, they look to continue their impressive season in the upcoming weeks and play for a Section VI title.
