Class overview:

These courses are dedicated to the acquisition of the Spanish language and knowledge of Hispanic and Latino cultures.  They are designed to facilitate the attainment of  language to be able to communicate in and comprehend  the Spanish language at the novice-mid level through reading, writing, listening,  and speaking. They also aim to expand knowledge of these cultures in order to promote understanding and  appreciation of such. Students will develop interpersonal, interpretive, and presentational skills and cultural awareness.

About me

I am a Fremont Ross graduate.  I have a bachelor's degree in Spanish and International studies from Otterbein College, now Otterbein University.  I obtained my teaching certificate through courses at Universidad de Puerto Rico, recinto de Mayagüez and La Universidad Interamericana de Puerto Rico. I lived in Puerto Rico for approximately 12 years and taught there for 8 years. This is my fifth year at Ross. I am looking forward to sharing the Spanish language and  Hispanic and Latino cultures with you!
