Hello everyone!  I am so excited to start the 2025-2026 school year!  On this website, you will be able to find resources for my Algebra I and Geometry Classes!  I will also have a Google Classroom available where assignments, reminders, and announcements will be posted.  The textbook will be available online so that no one will need to take one home and all assignments will be submitted online.  Let's have a great and safe school year!     

This Algebra course includes an in-depth analysis of expressions, equations of lines, parabolas, and quadratics.  Abstract and real-world problem situations will be provided to students to analyze using algebraic concepts. Students will practice using appropriate algebraic tools and will also work using different representations of algebraic concepts such as graphs, tables, equations and real world problems.  Emphasis will be placed on developing critical thinking skills as they relate to logical reasoning and argument. 

This Geometry course includes an in-depth analysis of plane, solid, and coordinate geometry as they relate to both abstract mathematical concepts as well as real-world problem situations. Topics include logic and proof, parallel lines and polygons, perimeter and area analysis, volume and surface area analysis, similarity and congruence, trigonometry, and analytic geometry. Emphasis will be placed on developing critical thinking skills as they relate to logical reasoning and argument.
