About My Class

About Me

I am in my 33rd year of teaching and have spent all but two of these with Fremont City Schools.  I currently teach biology and intro to biology.

I have a both an undergraduate degree (BS in Education)  and a master's degree (MS in Education)  from Bowling Green State University.  Since getting my master's degree I have earned 61 graduate hours from BGSU, University of Toledo, Ohio University, OSU, Miami, Ashland, Notre Dame College, and Hiram College.

I serve on the biology content advisory committee for the Ohio Department of Education.  Our role is to review and modify questions created for the biology portion of the OST.

Within the district I am an assistant director for the Ross musical and serve as the co-president/vice-president for the Fremont Education Association.

I am married and live in Fremont.  My daughter is a Ross grad and is a graduate of BGSU.

In my free time, I act/direct/volunteer at the Fremont Community Theatre (FCT), read, and play video games.
