Welcome to English 11 and 12

Welcome to 11th and 12th grade English class! My name is Mrs. Hanson and I am very excited to be your teacher this year. I graduated from Bowling Green State University with Bachelors of Arts (majoring in English) and also earned a minor in History. My Master's Degree in Education was earned from the University of Toledo. Although I attended rival schools during my higher education years, I will always be a Falcon at heart! I love to read books and listen to music. I am also co-advisor for the Freshman Class Cabinet. Freshman Class Cabinet is an organization that volunteers both at Ross and within the Fremont community. We also hold several fundraisers during the year in order to generate money for your class fund. That class fund helps to pay for events, such as PROM your junior year.

Please be aware that assignments are posted in Google Classroom and/or ProgressBook. When assignments are posted, please make sure you are looking at the correct class period.

I appreciate a learning environment where students are willing to learn, excited to engage with classmates, and ready to apply their knowledge in order to advance their academic career.
