**Announcements:**

This year: Upon books returning to the library. Books are checked in. A UV light is run over them and the books are then quarantined for 2-3 days. Before checking out books, all students are asked to use hand sanitizer and a shelf marker. Books are not to be touched by students unless they ask first. Shelf markers are washed after each class to ensure sanitization between classes.

Any students who did not pay any fines or return books by today will receive a letter informing you of the cost to replace the book. 

11/1/2020 

If your child owes a book or a fine from the 2019-2020 school year, they will not be permitted to check out a book this year until the book is found or the cost of the book is turned in. 

4/7/2020

Any library books that are currently checked out, please keep in a safe place and we will collect them upon the return to school. 

If your child is not sure if they have a book checked out currently, please email me with your students name and teacher and I will be happy to let you know if they have anything out. 

If the book was lost prior to the close of school, please be sure to look for it. 

Friendly Reminders:

Students can keep books for two weeks from their previous class. 

They are able to renew, but they must have the book with them to renew.

They may renew their books up to two times only. 

Please be sure to check your child's folders for overdue notices. 

Letters for long-overdue books will be sent home once a month until the book is returned or the fine has been paid. 

If fines are not paid by the end of the school year, students will not receive their report cards.
