Freeman Public Schools
Wellness Policy Goals
Wellness Policy Goals
Nebraska public school districts, including Freeman Public Schools, are required to complete a triennial assessment of our locally approved school wellness policy. The Triennial Assessment is comprised of four steps:
Measure the extent the local wellness policy complies with the USDA wellness policy requirements and model policy language.
Demonstrates progress made in reaching the goals of the wellness policy.
Measure the extent of compliance of all schools in the District in meeting LSWP requirements.
Make the Triennial Assessment results available to the public.
Freeman Public Schools completed the triennial assessment during the 2025-26 school year. If you have any questions regarding school wellness, please contact Dr. Havelka at andrew.havelka@freemanschools.net.
