Sixth grade will participate in team building, orientation activities, have plenty of time to check out their lockers and tour the building with their homeroom teacher, and follow an abbreviated schedule. A letter will be sent home in the summer explaining the first day. Additionally, we will hold our Annual 6th Grade Family Welcome and Orientation Night in the month of August. Further details will be sent via One Call.
School pictures will be taken on the first day of school.
A supply list for sixth grade will be posted on the FLMS website. Last year’s list can be accessed via the supply link.
On average, approximately 70 minutes an evening.

We post our morning announcements on our home page.
The drop off location is in the staff parking lot at the crosswalk. This is indicated in the diagram below by the green X. Enter the campus through the main driveway. Turn right into the parking lot as you approach the school. Follow the red arrows counter clockwise around the lot and drop off at the painted crosswalk. The yellow X indicates the bus entrance, which is restricted during school drop-off and pick-up times.
The pickup location is the same as for drop off in the morning. Enter the campus through the main driveway. Turn right into the parking lot as you approach the school. You will find that many times you will be waiting in a line of cars. Please be patient and make your way around before your child enters the car. We don’t want students cutting across the lot while cars are in motion.
