Color
By the end of Grade 3 students will
-Name the primary colors and tell what is special about them. (They are first, we mix them to get the secondary colors)
-tell how and be able to mix primary colors to make secondary colors (green, purple, orange)
-know warm and cool colors and complementary colors (opposites that make each other pop)
-mix paint to make a tint (add white) and shade (add black)
-explore mixing analogous colors to mix tertiary colors
