For this project we learn about WARM and COOL colors and use these colors to create beautiful sculptures out of paper!

Supplies:

• 9 x 12 white paper

• Coloring Supply (choose one):

  • • • Crayons

      • Markers

      • Colored Pencils

• Pencil + eraser

• Scissors

• Glue stick

• Practice paper

Project Directions:

1. Fill the page with lines, designs, and patterns using only the WARM colors

2. Flip paper over

3. Color the other side of paper using only COOL colors

4. Grab a piece of construction paper to practice making a sculpture

5. Create an interesting line on practice paper

   1. Start on the outside edge and ends in the middle with a dot

   2. Make sure you can cut it

   3. No overlapping lines

6. Using scissors cut line starting from outside edge and stoping at the dot

7. You should have one piece of paper

8. Play with the paper: fold, roll, and bend it to create an intersting sculpture

9. When you are happy, glue sculpture in place with glue stick

10. Post finished artwork to Artsonia. (Student Access Code : HDSD-WRBF)
