Line Leaf

In this art lesson we will learn about The Elements of Art: LINE, COLOR, + PATTERN. We will learn about the different types of LINE and create a variety of line designs inside our leaf drawing!

Supplies:

9X12 White drawing paper
Pencil + eraser
Black sharpie
Watercolors

Directions:

Using a pencil draw the outline of any type of leaf - be sure to fill the page!
Divide your leaf into different sections
Create different lines in each section using a black sharpie marker
Color around the leaf with watercolors. Experiment with the colors.
Think about what happens when you mix colors together...do you like the color combinations?
