In this art lesson we will learn about GEOMETRIC SHAPES. We will use GEOMETRIC SHAPES to create a picture. Our demonstration will be for designing a robot to help people, however students may choose to create anything they would like using COLLAGE and GEOMETRIC SHAPES.
In art, a shape is created when a line connects to itself to create a boundary. A shape has two dimensions: height and width.
Geometric shapes are shapes that are mathematical and can be measures. They have common names and are regular. Some examples are circles, squares, and triangles.
