Hi there!

Thank you for taking the time to visit our class website! My name is Ms. Laura Quagliariello, and I am thrilled to be your child's first grade teacher this year! Here is some information to get to know me a bit better:

• I began teaching in Freehold in September of 2018. I have spent all three of my years at first grade at JJCS. First grade has a special place in my heart, and I look forward to another successful year! I feel privileged to share it with your children!

• Lifelong learning is my passion. I earned my Master’s Degree from Monmouth University in Elementary K-6 Education, in addition to a Teacher of Students with Disabilities endorsement. My Bachelor’s Degree is from Lehigh University in Journalism. Before pursuing a career in the field of education, I had a career in Advertising Sales for five years, spending the most significant portion of my career at O, The Oprah Magazine

• I grew up in Monmouth County and have lived in New Jersey most of my life! After our school day, I go home to my Boston Terrier, Lola. We love to take walks at the beach. In fact, the beach is our favorite place to be! As for my hobbies, I enjoy spending time with my family (especially my niece and nephew) and friends, cooking, and reading a good book

I am eager to meet all of you and start our journey together this year. I am committed to helping your children learn and progress as they embark on first grade. I look forward to the many gratifying and enjoyable experiences we will share together in the months ahead!
