What is a Student Learning Portfolio?
What is a Student Learning Portfolio?
A student learning portfolio is a compilation of academic work and other forms of educational evidence assembled for the following purposes:
- evaluating coursework quality, learning progress, and academic achievement
- determining whether students have met learning standards or other academic requirements for courses, grade level, etc.
A digital portfolio is a computer-based collection of student performance over time. Portfolios make classroom learning more accessible to parents, administrators, and other district support staff because they provide a window into student learning.
