History
The first junior high yearbook was published in 1973. According to the message in the back of the book the title "Reflections" was picked by Carole Armstrong and Elaine Gerogiadis.
The message continues to say "Reflections '73" is an appropriate title, becase whenever you open this book, you will reflect on the good times you had at Freedom Junior High School."
We couldn't agree more! We want all of the students at FMS to cherish the time they spend here, whether in person or virtually.
Who we are
Mr. Pete Kappas was the FMS yearbook sponsor for 11 years. Over the years he published yearbooks that captured the daily life and special moments that occurred at the middle school. We hope to continue his legacy by memorailizing student life at the middle school. We want to honor his dedication to Freedom Middle School by carrying on with the 2020-2021 yearbook. We look forward to the opportunity to capture the memories this crazy year will bring.
