About the Writing Process Infographics. As part of this course, students learned more about the writing process. Their point of departure was a traditional overview of the writing process as summarized in Joseph Moxley's article "Writing Process" (published in the OER Writing Commons). From there, students could explore the writing process of specific genres or explore their own individual takes on the writing process. As you'll see, projects ranged from writing research papers or teaching writing to developing characters, and incorporating procrastination. Some of the goals of the assignment included to learn about the genre of infographics and to explore open educational resources and the differences between traditional copyright, public domain, and Creative Commons licenses. The students' works are themselves licensed under Creative Commons licenses.
