Freaky Reiki

The Freaky Reiki was born in Jackson, MS and currently resides in Atlanta, GA. She is a National Black Doulas Association (NBDA) trained and certified Doula, Mother and a fierce advocate for people of color and their birth rights.

Ever since she was young she knew she wanted to help women and children, but wasn't sure how. It wasn’t until her own birth experience, where she realized her unpreparedness did see the importance on birth education and birth workers. After meeting with a group of like-minded individuals who were also birth workers and mothers that gone through similar experiences she realized that her birth experience was often parallel to the birth experiences of other people of color. As a collective, we go into the birth rooms unprepared and already disregarded by healthcare personnel.

The Freaky Reiki's holistic coaching service was created to educate, empower and encourage people of color—from the birth room to the board room.
