Your team will be responsible for evaluating the website listed by your team's number to determine the validity of the website. Click here for the list of websites.
1. The researcher will pull up the website on their Chromebook. Then, open a new tab and go to this site: http://webeval.easybib.com/. Finally, copy/paste the link into the space provided on the Easybib site.
2. Together as a team, you will work through the questions on the right side of your screen. The recorder is responsible for taking notes during this exploration process to help with your presentation to the class. Every team member is responsible for working through the questions to evaluate the website.
3. Together as a team, you will take your notes and prepare a short presentation to share with the class. The presentation will explain whether or not your team believed the website to be a real or fake site. You will use the notes that you took during the exploration phase to provide evidence for your findings. The reporter will be responsible for leading the team to video the presentation in Flipgrid. The reporter may or may not be the only team member on your Flipgrid video- to be determined by the team.
Critical Thinking * Communication
This part of the activity will be completed individually, independent from the team.
1. Each student will open the Class FlipGrid, and in a new tab open the Peer Evaluation Rubric.
2. Your teachers will distribute the feedback to your team!
