When creating each new week for this page I did keep up the prior information. Please continue to use this page as you like. The shapes are all the way at the bottom. Over the summer try to keep practicing your child's number concept and math facts.
April 13th
Telling Time- Please watch How To Tell The Time link. The beginning is just review but then it gets into the parts that we need to know. Telling time by the quarter hour and five minutes. There is a great selection of books about time on Epic.com that your child can read. The more exposure of the vocabulary the stronger base knowledge they will have.

Our goal is to have your child identify that a fraction is part of a whole. They should be able to tell what a numerator and denominator in a fraction represents. They should also be able to model and manipulative fractions (from greatest to least). Students will also be able to name fractions and sets, pictures of fractions and comparing fractions. There is a great collection of books on Epic about Fractions.
Tuesday April 28th your child will take the Fraction Quiz. Please review these two videos on Monday April 27th.
