Franklin Township holds a special place in my heart! My family has been residents of the Township for four generations, so I have a lot of hometown pride. I recognize the potential of our community, especially in our students, and hope to foster a positive learning environment that encourages creativity, independent problem solving, and kindness.
I graduated from Delsea High School in 2013 and went on to get my Bachelors degree from Rider University. I graduated in 2017 with my Elementary Education certification and a Middle School Math certification. While in college I majored in Integrated Sciences and Mathematics.
I began my career in education at Reutter school in 2017 as a part-time basic skills teacher for math. The following year I continued to teach within the district as a long-term substitute. I was then offered a full time position at Deerfield School and taught 5th grade math and science from 2019-2021. As much as I loved teaching there, I knew I wanted to be back in Franklin Township. I was so excited to accept a 6th grade science position here at Reutter during the 2021-2022 school year, and have since looked forward to continuing my career where I started.
I currently reside within the Township with my husband and daughter. Some hobbies of mine include reading, puzzles, gardening, spending time with friends, and making my daughter smile (A LOT)!
