Welcome! My name is Stacey Swope, and this is my 25th year teaching in Franklin Township. I have a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education and Psychology and Master’s degree in Educational Leadership. I reside in Harrison Township with my four sons: Andy (21), Alex (20), Isaac (18) and Ryan (11). Andy, Alex and Isaac are in college - Andy is a history major, Alex is a finance major and Isaac is an advertising major. My youngest son, Ryan, is a 6th grader. I enjoy spending quality time with my family and two Great Danes, Dakota and Brooklyn, and my rescue dog, Rambo! I also love taking day trips, game nights, reading books, discovering new authors to enjoy, shopping anywhere and everywhere, long distance running and being close to the water!
I love being an educator, and each August I am excited by the prospect of returning to school, tackling new challenges, and getting to meet my fantastic new class! My favorite thing about teaching is observing the progress students make from September through June and much later getting to hear about the wonderful things students have accomplished to make their dreams come true. :)
