Welcome! My name is Diana Okon, and I am so excited to welcome you and your family to our classroom!

I am a Monroe Township resident and was born and raised in New York City. I earned my Bachelor's degree in Childhood Education from Saint Francis College and later completed my Master's degree in Special Education at Rowan University. This year marks my ninth year as an educator, and I have had the opportunity to teach students from preschool through second grade. I am excited to begin my second year at Janvier and look forward to another amazing year of learning and growth.

Outside of the classroom, I enjoy spending time with my family. My husband and I have three wonderful boys, ages 7 months, 3 years, and 5 years, along with our lovable pit bull, Gabby. We love being outdoors and making memories together, whether we're swimming during the summer, snow tubing in the winter, or simply enjoying family adventures throughout the year.

Teaching is truly my passion, and I strive to create a classroom where every child feels welcomed, supported, and excited to learn. I can't wait to get to know each of my students, celebrate their unique strengths, and partner with you to make this school year a fun, meaningful, and successful one. I look forward to an incredible year together!
