All About Me

My name is Diana Okon. I am a Monroe Township resident. I was born and raised in New York City. I have attended Saint Francis College where I earned my Bachelors in childhood education. I continued on to earning my Masters in Special Education from Rowan University. I am going into my eighth year as an educator; I have taught grade levels ranging from preschool through first grade. This will be my first year teaching at Janvier as a second grade teacher. 

I am a mom to two boys, ages 2 and 4. I also have two cats, named Maya and Layla and a pitbull who I rescued last summer named Gabby. I love spending time with my family doing all types of activities outdoors, from swimming in the summer to snow tubing in the winter. 

I look forward to getting to know all of my students and having a year filled with lots of learning and fun.
