While formal homework will not be given out, your child is asked to practice their addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division facts for a minimum of 10 minutes each night. It is reccomended to start with addition and subtraction facts in the beginning of the year, and then move into multiplication and division facts once we start our multiplication and division unit. It is up to you to choose how you would like your child to practice their facts. You can use traditional flash cards, websites, games, or simply practice while eating dinner. The choice is yours! The important thing is that your child become fluent in their facts.
