Social Studies

New Jersey State Learning Standards for Social Studies (3rd grade) found here.

*Social Studies will take place for my homeroom during the fall and winter, until January 31st. Our homeroom will then transfer to Science.

** The next group of students will come to me on February 1st until the end of the school year for Social Studies.

Some topics that will be discussed and explored this year in Social Studies are civic mindedness and equality, the study of our federal, state, and local governments, geographic studies, and more!
