If you are a first time musician choosing a band or string instrument, you will need to rent an instrument through on of our rental companies. Please do not hesitate to contact us if renting an instrument would present a financial hardship.
BAND RENTAL INSTRUMENTS AVAILABLE:
Flute, Clarinet, Alto Sax, Trumpet, Trombone, Percussion
GENERAL RENTAL INFORMATION:
You will initially rent an instrument this spring and it will be delivered to the school in the fall. The reason for this is to avoid any damage happening to the instrument while putting it together for the first time before in-school instruction has begun. Our preferred rental company is David French Music based in Westborough, MA.
There is an initial fee of $28 which covers the first 4 months for flute, clarinet, trumpet, trombone, and percussion kit followed by a monthly fee of $23. For alto saxophone there is an initial fee of $42 which covers the first 4 months followed by a monthly fee of $36. All rentals include a repair and replace program for a small additional fee which covers any damage or annual cleaning that needs to happen for the instrument.

Strings are rented through Johnson Strings which is located in Newton Upper Falls, MA.
