We have adopted the pollinator garden at Grange Insurance Audubon Center. Special thanks to the volunteer project coordinator, Dan, and Fiona from the Grange Insurance Audubon Center as well as volunteers from FCPP and the Grange. Prep work in spring 2025 included clearing out the weeds and invasives from the garden bed. Thanks to an anonymous donation, on June 19, 2025, we planted over 300 native plants and 28 different species. Majority of the plants were from Natives in Harmony.
In collaboration with FLOW, we teamed up to do a native pollinator garden at Valley Forge Elementary School. It is a Columbus City School located in the Forest Park neighborhood. With our volunteers, FLOW, and volunteers from IGS Energy, we were able to install a diverse pollinator garden and an outdoor classroom space for the students and families to enjoy. Special thanks to our volunteers, Craig and Dan, who helped coordinate this project with FLOW. This project was completed over several work days wrapping up in August 2025.
We worked with Northwest Christian Church in Upper Arlington to install a new native rain garden. We helped with this project and provided volunteers for install day. It was installed on May 25, 2025.
