Open the "Classroom" app on your iPad - it looks like a little green chalkboard with a person outline.

The first time, you will need to click "Get Started" and possibly sign in using your school e-mail and password.

In the bottom right corner, click the + sign.

Type in the class code that was provided by your teacher. Then click "Join" near the top.

In Classroom, click the "hamburger" (three lines in the top left corner.

From there you will see a list of classes, or you can also click "Classes" to see the tiled view.

Open Google Classroom and select the class you are meeting with.

In the top right corner select the video camera icon - it looks like a square with an attached little triangle.

Click the "Join" button. (You can also turn your camera and microphone on or off before joining.)

Click ALLOW if it asks for permission to use the camera and microphone.
