Biography
Miss Jacob is excited to start her fourth year at Colonial Road Elementary School as a Special Education teacher. This is Miss Jacob's seventh year as a teacher and is grateful to spend another year teaching in the Franklin Lakes Public School District. She is a 2020 graduate from Rowan University where she earned her Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education as well as her Reading endorsement and Teacher of Students with Disabilities endorsement. In 2023 Miss Jacob also earned her Master's Degree in Learning Experience Design and Educational Technology.
Miss Jacob has wanted to be a teacher since she was a little girl, however, she also has other hobbies/passions. This includes spending time with family and friends, traveling, attending sporting events (football is a big sport in her household), coaching softball and basketball, going on walks, playing with her dogs and cat, and watching sunsets and fireworks.
Miss Jacob is looking forward to supporting each student in their educational experience as well as help them become the best version of themself. She will always encourage each student to try their very best and create a classroom environment where every child feels loved, safe, supported, and welcomed.
Please feel free to email her with any questions, concerns, comments, or feedback as the year progresses!
