We appreciate your patience as we begin to initiate universal screening for needs-based G&T services. The District's identification process is comprehensive, and requires significant time to complete. Parents/ guardians of identified students will receive notification of eligibility for services in coordination with the release of 2026-27 class placements and schedules.

Franklin Lakes Public Schools provide opportunities, resources, and encouragement for all K-5 students through our Gifted & Talented Continuum of Services. The District's programming is grounded in the field's latest research and models. Our best practices align with the National Association for Gifted Children (NAGC) standards and are in accordance with NJ-A4710: Strengthening Gifted and Talented Education Act. Our mission is to facilitate student learning, achievement, and development through appropriate extensions, enrichment opportunities, and challenges.
