Reading Like a Historian
We all read in our daily lives; whether it is reading a book, magazine, text messages, road signs, recipes, or scrolling our social media platforms. As responsible global citizens, we should continuously ask questions, think critically, and attempt to make connections to what we read to better understand and make sense of the world around us.
This year, we will learn about Medieval Times and navigate the Middle Ages by exploring primary and secondary sources, images, architecture, and other various texts and artifacts. Before you tackle each reading and assignment from class, Mrs. Camasta would like you to keep the following strategies and critical thinking questions in mind to best make sense of the context and text through the lens of a Historian!
Also, have some fun:)
