Mrs. Reed
I love being a part of the third-grade team here at Roland Reynolds Elementary!
A little about me...I grew up in Livingston, Texas. I always loved going to school and decided I wanted to be a teacher at a very young age (and an Aggie! WHOOP!). When I graduated from high school, I moved to College Station to attend Texas A&M University and major in Early Childhood Education. Following college, my husband, Jonathan, and I remained in College Station until moving our family to Franklin in 2019. We are thrilled to be a part of the Franklin community and raise our kiddos here! Our oldest, Jillian, is 13 and in eighth grade at Franklin Middle School. Our youngest, Jake, is 8 and is a third grader here at Roland Reynolds. As a family, we love spending time together outdoors camping and exploring! In my downtime, I love to read, craft, decorate, and travel.
I am entering my sixteenth year of teaching this year. Prior to teaching third grade here in Franklin, I spent twelve years in College Station ISD where I taught second grade for four years and first grade for eight years.
My goal for each of my students is to foster a love for reading and to encourage and help every student reach their full potential. My students become my kids too so I look forward to working together with parents to ensure a successful third-grade year for your child.
