Mrs. Compton's 3rd grade

Howdy!  My name is Jessica Compton.  I am so excited to be your teacher!  I am starting my 24th year teaching.  I've taught Pre-K through 5th grade, but 3rd is my most favorite.  I have been married to my husband Brad for 22 years. We have 2 daughters, Kinleigh, a freshman and Kendall, a senior in high school.  I am a proud Fightin' Texas Aggie.  My daughters show heifers and steers and when I'm not at school, you'll likely find me in the barn.  We also have a horse and 3 dogs. 

I absolutely LOVE reading and hope to instill a love of reading I gained when I was in third grade.  Every child brings something special to our classroom and I want each child to know they are valued and loved.
