Another goal of this program is to positively impact not only our school district but the broader community as well. To help fund this initiative, I plan to establish a sponsorship program with tiered giving levels, allowing individuals and businesses to contribute at a level that is meaningful to them.
Our Franklin High School Ecology students are working toward an incredible opportunity to take science beyond the classroom through our Yellowstone Ecology Stewardship Program.
As part of our fundraising efforts, each student has a wolf donation sheet. The wolf is divided into sections with different donation amounts. Anyone can choose a section to sponsor, and with every donation, students get one step closer to filling their wolf and reaching Yellowstone.
What are we fundraising for?
Our students will travel to Yellowstone National Park for a field-based ecology experience. Students will participate in hands-on scientific investigations, observe wildlife, explore conservation and learn alongside professionals in the field. This isn’t just a trip; it is an opportunity for students to experience what it means to be a field scientist.
Every donation, big or small, helps make this educational experience possible. If you would like to support one of our students, please get in touch with Mrs. Lancaster for more information. ajlancaster@franklinhigh.com
