Homework - Please be aware that homework is assigned once a week and due on assigned date. Late homework is accepted but receives a late penalty for everyday it is late until it reaches the grade of 50. You can also find homework on my Remind teacher page.

Weekly SGS News- 11/11/19

  • Friendsgiving is on November 14th at six o’clock at the Hamilton Street Campus cafeteria. Ticket sales will take place during lunches with a signed permission slip for all students. The cost is twelve dollars for students, fifteen dollars for adults, and twelve dollars each for a group of four or more. Any questions please contact Mrs. Read at jread@franklinboe.org. Permission in your email.
  • FMS cordially invites you to attend our Parent Session called an overview of programs and services at the Somerset County Vocational and Technical High School on Wed November 13 at the HSC Campus starting at six oclock. Flyer attached
  • School Pictures have arrived and will be distributed this week from their GYM teacher.
  • Picture retakes will be held on Friday, November 22.
  • Marking Period One ends on Monday November 11.
  • Marking Period ONE Report Cards will be displayed in Parent Portal on November 18. Be sure to register for the parent portal.

Weekly SGS News- 11/18/19

  • By now you should have received the online scheduling information letter pertaining to scheduling parent teacher conferences.
  • Conferences dates are Wednesday, December 4 from 6:00pm to 8:00pm Thursday and Friday December 5 & 6 beginning at 12:45pm to 2:30pm.
  • The parent portal will open on November 18 to schedule your time slot. Also on November 18 after the close of school you will be able to view your child’s report card.
  • Remember report cards will no longer be mailed home.
  • Picture retakes will be held on Friday, November 22.
  • The next PTSO meeting is on Monday, Nov 18 at 7:00pm at Hamilton Street Campus Library. All FMS parents and staff are welcome to attend. The planning has started for the FMS annual Tricky Tray.
  • We would love help with collecting donations, wrapping baskets, organizing volunteers email us your contact information at franklinmiddleschoolptso@gmail.com and we can give you more details.

School will be closed on Thursday and Friday, November 28, 29.

On Wednesday November 27 is a minimum session day. Dismissal is at 12:30pm.

Remember to secure your slot for Parent Teacher conference via the genesis parent portal.

Weekly SGS News- 12/2/19

  • Remember all this week is Minimum Session days. Dismissal is at 12:30.
  • Due to the minimum session schedule, please be reminded all after school activities starting on Dec 2 - 9 will not be held and will resume on Dec 10.
  • Parent Teacher Conferences are scheduled for Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. December 4, 5, 6. Logon to Genesis parent portal to review open slots.
  • The PTSO is looking for donations for their annual tricky tray. Information is attached in your email.
  • The season of giving is here.
    • The FMS Student Council is sponsoring our annual One Kid, One Can food drive for the Franklin Township Food Bank. Canned and dry goods will be accepted as well as monetary donations during lunch periods. We will collect items from now until December 18. Let’s make this year’s drive a success and show FMS cares for our community.
    • Consider Connections peer mentor leadership Community Service project by donating new hats, scarves, socks or throws for the senior citizen residents of the Spring Hills Assisted Living facility. All donations may be placed in the holiday box located in the Child Study Suite. We will be collecting gifts until December 6.
  • In advance we thank you for your help in bringing joy to someone during this time of the year.

Weekly SGS News- 12/9/19

  • Friendly reminder that on Monday Dec 9, Tuesday Dec 10 and Wednesday Dec 11 are minimum session days. SGS Afterschool clubs/activities will not be held. SGS Clubs/Office Hours will resume on Thursday, December 12. For details, please refer to the letter from Superintendent Ravally attached in your email.
  • · This year the SGS PTSO, in collaboration with the Women to Girls Mentoring Club and our PBSIS student leaders, will once again host our annual Giving Tree Holiday Event. Attached in your email is a list of items to benefit the center for Great Expectations, a shelter serving homeless parenting women.
  • · The second annual Positive Peer Challenge & Holiday Health Basketball Benefit which is scheduled for Saturday, December 14, 2019 from 1-3pm at Franklin High School. This will be an afternoon filled with family fun including a basketball game, fitness presentations, refreshments, raffles and more. Our schools’ PBIS teams will be highlighting their work as well.
